THANK YOU to all who turned out for the first closed-roads running of the Weaver Brothers Island Stages Rally. To see so many spectators cheering the crews through the stages was something special and the positive messages from competitors and locals since the event have been non-stop.

Congratulations to Rob Swann and Steve McNulty in their Ford Fiesta WRC taking the win over local drivers, with the Mike Davidson Memorial Trophy being awarded to Richard Weaver and Dylan Thomas, who had to settle for second overall. Andy Williams and junior navigator Harry Samuel lifted the Jon Dyer Memorial Trophy with Andy having built the car and passed his BARS specifically for the event, and Harry stepping in as navigator at the eleventh hour having only autotested before.
