The Isle of Wight Car Club, established in the late 1940s by Keith Holdaway, organises a healthy variety of motorsport events, ranging from the humble yet popular grassroots auto test 14-round championship to a sprint and stage rally which are held annually.

  • Isle of Wight Car Club officials and the committee are committed to ensure that protection of the environment is firmly embedded in the culture of the club
  • Prevent unnecessary pollution, reduce waste and minimise the consumption of resources
  • Educate and motivate our competitors, officials and volunteers to be environmentally responsible
  • Control waste materials and seek opportunities for waste minimization and recycling
  • Control the use of toxic substances and deal with incidents swiftly
  • Control of human activities to ensure protection of the environment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on environmental issues, listening to concerns and suggestions
  • Recognise our commitment to the Motorsport UK Environmental Sustainability Programme
